Dominion Women's Championship

University of Toronto, which dumped Queens University (7:2 and 3:1) and East York in playoff competition, withdrew when the women's athletic directorate at the university ruled they could not compete with teams from non-educational institutions. A Preston team, reportedly victors in their sector of Ontario, were ruled ineligible because they were not a member of an organized league.

Melfort Ladies Hockey Tournament (3/23-24)

Melfort won with 4-0 record. Regina Molson Maidens finished second (3-1), Saskatoon third (2-2), and Nipawin and Spiritwood tied for fourth at 1-2-1. Melfort beat the Maidens 11-6. The latter club went on to defeat Spiritwood 3-0, Nipawin 8-1, and Saskatoon 6-4. The Maidens had previously won a tournament at Odessa.

Burlington Ladies Hockey Tournament (4/20-21)

Montreal won the A championship, Preston Trianglettes the B championship (beating Pembroke 4-1, Oshawa 3-2, and Downsview 2-1), and Willowdale the C title. Consolation winners were Don Mills (A), Ingersoll (B), and Mississauga (C).

1974-75

The Edmonton Chimos beat Jasper 40-1 over two games in their first road trip of the year, and won the Regina and Saskatoon tournaments in February. They then won their own tournament, played on March 9-10, beating the Saskatoon Blue Jays 8-0, Ardrossan 5-2 in the semifinals, and the Calgary Wild Roses 4-0 in the final, to run their record to 28-0 on the season. The Blue Jays were consolation champions, beating Lloydminster in overtime. Other teams in the tournament were Gibbons, Regina Queens, and Lethbridge. The Chimos lost their first game of the season in the Lloydminster Tournament on March 15, falling 1-0 to the Lloydminster Legion. The latter team beat Lashburn 4-1 in the final, while Edmonton thumped Wainwright 13-2 to claim consolation honors.

Regina Golden Ladies beat Vibank Fillies 6-3 on March 28 to win their own tournament at Balgonie. Weyburn Squires blasted Fillmore 10-0 to claim the B title.
