HC Hvězda Brno (in English HC Star Brno) was a Czech ice hockey team in Brno, Czech Republic.
It was founded in 1972 and was originally known as HC Ytong Brno. In 1996 it purchased a license for the Czech 2.liga from HC Strakonice. In 2000 it purchased a license for the Czech 1.liga from HC Melnik.
However in 2003 the club was relegated back to the 2.Liga.
In 2006 it merged with HC Kometa Brno.
