The 2011-12 Dameneishockey-Bundesliga season was won by the Neuberg Highlanders. The EHV Sabres Wien won the State Championship.

State Championship

The state championship was decided in playoffs. The tables of the Elite Women's Hockey League and DEBL were counted as the main round. The EHV Sabers Wien (1./EWHL), the Vienna Flyers (4./EWHL), the DEC Salzburg Eagles (6./EWHL) and the Neuberg Highlanders (1./DEBL) were eligible to participate. The two best-ranked Austrian teams of the EWHL played in a best-of-three series for the State Championship. The other two teams played the bronze medal in the same format.
