2009–10 UkHL season

The 2009–10 Ukrainian Hockey League season was the 17th annual edition of the Ukrainian Hockey Championship. It took place from 2009-10. 6 teams participated in Division A, three teams in Division B, and six teams in Division C. Sokil Kiev won the championship.

This division was made up of teams who formerly played in the Western Ukrainian League, which prohibited imports from other regions. This year, Vatra Ivano-Frankivsk brought in players from the capital Kyiv.

The club was threatened with expulsion, but their actions were deemed acceptable by the Ukrainian Federation]]. In protest, the clubs from Lutsk and Kalush and refused to play overtime in their games (3-3 at the end of normal time). They lost each match 5-0 by forfeit.
