1996–97 Scottish Cup
The 1996-97 Scottish Cup was won by the Paisley Pirates, who defeated the Fife Flyers in the final to claim the title.
Only two teams participated in the tournament, as Ayr was considered an overly-strong opposition. On the other hand, Murrayfield and Dumfries were considered too weak, which only left Fife and Paisley to contest the cup.
Final
- Fife Flyers 4 - Paisley Pirates 8 (3:2, 1:2, 0:4)
