The 1989-90 British Women's League season was the seventh season of the competition. 17 teams participated in the league, and the Oxford City Rockets won the championship.

Final

The Rockets defeated the Strikers to become unofficial British League champions. Unfortunately, a fixture between the Rockets and the Northern champion Scorpions did not materialize.
