1956-57 Patriotic Front Cup

The Bulgarian Championship was not contested during the 1956-57 due to an overly mild winter (there were no indoor ice rinks in Bulgaria at the time).

Instead, a competition for the Patriotic Front Newspaper Cup was arranged. It was played in January 1957 at the Sofia Sports Stadium, and saw Cherveno zname Sofia claim the tournament.

3rd place

The top team of Group B played the last place team of Group A for third place.
